Pastor Darryl, this is a sobering truth. Not just America, but also peculiar to Nigeria. I painstakingly read through your heartpour and forwarded it to some colleages that share them same view with me. I read about Josia today how he discovered God's impending wrath over Jerusalem (Israel and Judea) and how he distinguished himself and stood for righteousness till death. I encourage the discouraged Pastor to look up and he will find help in this time of crisis in ministry.

God bless you.

As a pastor of 10 years, I have been in that minister's shoes. Your counsel was dead-on and made me take another look at what is happening in our nation. I am concerned at the lack of committment within our churches. My elder board has had several meetings over the problem of getting young people into our church. We run around 300 people and there are only a handful of 20 somethings on any given Sunday. I will be praying with you for revival in our nations youth. I will be praying for that discouraged pastor also. Thank you for your ministry and vision. I will be contacting you soon about the possibility of your team coming to our church and leading a Student leadership conference. May God continue to bless Christ Powered Ministries.

Wow,what a beautiful story of your life in Christ. I knew a little of it already,I worked with Teresa for over two years. She is so proud of you and what you have allowed God to do through you.She was so sweet to gift me a CD of yours, and she was also instrumental in leading me back to Christ.Me and my girls are members at Victory, glad to say lots of things have changed there. Our youth movement is blessed and growing.Would love to have you come and speak there if you could. My oldest daughter loves your song "I want to Live" she plays it lots on her Ipod and I can hear her sing it in her room ,(when she thinks Im not listening!)God bless you Darryl in all you do,and thank you for reaching out to our kids.
